You can also encapsulate with clear which gives a gorgeous finish. Acrylic nails are stronger cheaper and last longer than gel nails. Gel nails are considered a healthier alternative to acrylic nails because acrylics often require the mixing of strong and potent chemicals.
A manicure can last up to 3 weeks. Just like acrylic gel can crack if it is flexed beyond its stretching point. They also tend to be more damaging to the nail especially as it requires more difficulty in removing it with soaking in acetone and buffing off.
Finally gel manicures can be the perfect nail enhancement option if youre allergic to acrylic. The process for adding a gel nail tip is usually conducted with a nail formwhich is a sticker that goes underneath the tip of the natural nail and the hard gel is built upon it to create an extension. With this type gel the damage can be the same as with acrylic nails in that you could lose layers of the natural nail through filing and improper removal.
What Gel Does Gel clings to the nail when cured and can either be a thick durable manicure or it can be used to build a nail enhancement. How are they cured. Hard Gels can be used to add length where Soft Gels cannot.
